It juxtaposes sloping angles and vertical lines to create a sense of both motion and stability. Like a waterfall tumbling over the rocks, the Crestwood's multi-pitched roof flows down an 8:12 slope past cross-gabled dormers and then extends out at a 3:12 pitch to shelter the full-length colonnaded porch below. With such dynamic presence, this two-story country classic will be just as impressive in the suburbs as it will on the farm.
